Refund Policy #
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Econumo, the hosted service at app.econumo.com. Econumo Self-Hosted is free and open source, so no refunds apply to it. Please read this policy together with our Terms of Service.
1. Purchases and Merchant of Record #
Purchases of Econumo are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for our orders. This means Paddle handles billing, payment processing, applicable taxes, and payment-related customer inquiries. Your order confirmation and receipt are issued by Paddle, and the charge on your statement will appear under Paddle’s name.
2. Try Before You Buy #
We recommend evaluating Econumo before purchasing. Every new account comes with a 45-day free trial, and no payment card is required to start it. You can sign up at app.econumo.com. You can also run Econumo Self-Hosted for free to see whether the Software meets your needs.
3. Refund Window #
If Econumo does not work out for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, either:
- Contact Paddle directly at paddle.net, using the email address you used at checkout or the order details from your receipt; or
- Email us at econumo@gmail.com with your order number, and we will arrange the refund with Paddle on your behalf.
4. After the Refund Window #
After the 14-day window has passed, refunds are issued at our discretion. We will consider a refund in exceptional cases, for example when a technical issue caused by us prevents you from using Econumo and we have been unable to resolve it. Please contact us at econumo@gmail.com and describe the problem.
5. How Refunds Are Paid #
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days for the refund to appear on your statement. Once a refund is issued, access to Econumo for the refunded purchase is revoked.
6. Your Statutory Rights #
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. In particular, if you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights, those rights are not affected by this policy.
7. Changes to This Policy #
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page with a new effective date. Changes do not affect purchases made before they take effect.
